The United Nepalese Association (UNA) is proud to announce the successful completion of its “Honoring
Our Gen Z Heroes” campaign, which recognized 42 Gen Z Governance Warriors, 3 Immortal Police Martyrs,
and additional injured Gen-Z beneficiaries from across Nepal. As part of this initiative, UNA’s leadership and
volunteer team traveled from Texas, USA, to Nepal and personally visited the homes of all 45 martyrs’
families between December 29, 2025, and January 24, 2026. During these visits, each family was presented
with a certificate of honor and direct financial assistance—either NPR 51,000 or NPR 101,000—according to
the circumstances.
In total, NPR 4,109,000 was distributed, made possible by the generosity of donors and supporters worldwide.
NPR 36,000 was spent on plaques for honorees. Approximately $12,000 in travel expenses was personally
contributed by Pasang Lama (Founding President & Campaign Coordinator) and Bhakta Bahadur Bhandari
(President) to support the team’s journey from Texas and travel within Nepal.
